Life Through Instagram

One. Took a long walk in the forest with my sister with the cameras. We among other things found a small mountain surrounded by staircases, made out of the mountain itself. I seriously need to get my photography together and go back and have a photo shoot there.
Two.  Looking away from my everyday usage in my make up box, like favorite mascara etc, this eyeshadow palette by W7 is my new baby. I need more, seriously.

Three. Forever trying to organize. With all my areas when it comes to just the craft part in my life I have so much small items I need organized you wouldn't believe...This is why I need a bigger apartment with a extra room that I can turn into my home office/craft room.
Four. Roadtrips with parents are awesome. Not just for getting amazing food on our way home but just to get out of town. This one was mainly for buying a new microwave since mine broke. Went with those badass ones that they use in a lot of cooking shows in the US. I can bake in that monster.

Five. Cutting little polaroids etc that I ordered home, for scrapbooking of course but also for pen pals and future happy mail packages!
Six. Broke in my holographic boots! Bought them on sale last year and have been waiting for Spring to wear them. Wish now I had bought a silver pair as well...maybe I will this year. But will probably keep looking for floral ones hehe. If you haven't noticed already, I prefer to wear boots!

3 Random Facts About Me

3 Random Facts About Me
  1. Not that woah over Star Wars. I've seen the movies and like...Yes Darth Vader is kick ass and the ewoks are adorable but they are so boring haha! Not a huge fan all in all with the whole out in space phew phew theme. There's a few that stuck to me, like Firefly etc, but just no.
  2. I have a permanent bump on my forehead. I'm clumsy so naturally I was a clumsy kid. Hit my head really bad when I was like eight maybe. And almost 20 years later I still have a bump on my head lol. But you can't really tell it's there unless you look for it. I think...
  3. Not a morning person. I can get up early and get shit done, like work days etc, but I will never in my life be a morning person. Hand me a cup of coffee and back away. No, just back away and let me grab my coffee and stay away.

4 Things To Do To Kickstart Inspiration

Read/Look at other peoples work.
Everyone does this. There are so many topics etc out there that you can put your own thoughts in (meaning you don't copy anyones work). If it's something DIY like, for example scrapbooking, you can find a color scheme etc that inspires you for a layout.

Take a walk.
You can lack of inspiration for many different reasons. And I find a longer walk, mostly with music, helps me. My mind gets clear and also I'm a huge nature lover so a walk in the forest is amazing.

Ask!
If you run a blog it's okay to ask your readers! Ask them what they enjoy most, what they want to see more of or maybe what they feel is missing.

Read something/Watch a movie etc.
Depending on what you enjoy most do it! I myself don't read much but I am a huge movie freak. Sometimes I watch a unseen movie but usually go for one of my favorites that I know inspire me. You also get a break from everything which is super helpful too.

What do you do to kickstart your inspiration?

Life Lately!

One. Been on a shopping spree lately, for me these days anyway. Mostly ebay but also irl :) I've been focusing on expanding my closet with more color/patterns and of course expand my Funko Pop collection.
Two. Avengers: Age of Ultron. Need I say more? I mean besides the fact of how extremely badass it is! Have you seen it yet? What did you think? Didn't you just love how Barton was...there are no words enough for that man *has a fangirl moment*.

Three. Started scrapbooking(ish) again thanks to this lovely lady! Meaning yes 99% of the things I've bought besides clothes and nerdy is scrapbooking supplies.
Four. Saw my first rainbow of this year! That happy feeling you get seeing one is just wonderful.

Five. Started a new scrapbook layout (sorry for the obsession haha) and it turned out Spring :) Usually I prepare a layout during the morning that I can continue on when I get home from work.
Six. THIS DRESS! I spotted it at H&M and cried blood when they didn't have it in my size but two days later I they got it and I tried it...of course I bought it. My closet is like an dark abyss of black clothes (loving it) so this little cutie makes my closet pop!

5 Things I Need To Get Better At

5 Things I Need To Get Better At
Don't Need It Anymore? PUT IT AWAY!
I'm a "do it later" person with many things. Instead of putting away things I don't need any longer right away I'm all "Meh, I'll do it later" which I never do. Result being a pile of shit on my areas that I need to work...Need to slap myself silly and get better on this.

Prepare The Night Before.
I used to do this when I worked needing to head down to the office. But I don't and haven't for some time now. Putting out the outfit you're gonna wear, prepare breakfast as much as you can etc is such a time saver in the morning! Not to mention how less stressful it is.

Stop Being Online So Much.
It's a online world today! With today's phones you just don't get away from it. I try to have at least 1 hour of social media free time during evenings but I should really kick it up a notch.

Stop "I'll do it later".
I'm an expert on this. Small things that takes a silly amount of time to fix and I'm all like "Nah, I'll do it later.". If I would do it later there wouldn't be a problem but I don't lol. Took it up in the first one yes but it's the same on more areas xD.

Update the shop when there's things to update it with.
I've had a bit of a down time when it comes to my online shop. For good reasons too but it's time to update etc again. I have both jewelry and prints needing to go up in the shop.

What things do you feel you have to get better at?
